' The stars shine all day too' - A series of Rob Ryan promotions at Rocco Forte's Brown's Hotels

London – To celebrate internationally renowned artist Rob Ryan’s solo exhibition at the Air Gallery ‘The Stars Shine All Day Too’ presented by TAG Fine Arts, Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel is offering a series of exclusive Rob Ryan promotions between 1 November until 20 December 2010.

Rob Ryan’s enchanting and intricate images tell stories of love, with heartfelt emotions.  ‘We are delighted to have this opportunity to work closely with Rob Ryan’ says Stuart Johnson, General Manager of Brown’s Hotel, ‘His attention to details and intricate carvings are as essential to his work as they are to ours.  His quotes provide a heart warming and contemporary twist, which we also hope our guests experience when staying with us.’

The Donovan Bar and Rob Ryan will be creating two exclusive cocktails, named after his piece ‘The Stars Shine All Day Too’ – ‘Day’ and ‘Night’.  Each of these Chase vodka cocktails will be served on unique, limited edition felt coasters, which will be die-cut to showcase this outstanding piece of art and guests can take them home as a souvenir.  The cocktails will cost £14 each. 

Brown’s Hotel – part of The Rocco Forte Collection is offering a special accommodation package for the night of the 5 and 6 November 2010.  This stay includes one Rob Ryan cocktail per person in The Donovan Bar, a Rob Ryan signed copy ‘The Gift’ - Carol Ann Duffy’s new book that Rob Ryan has illustrated for her, breakfast in HIX at The Albemarle and an invitation to attend a talk by eminent speakers in conversation about Rob’s work on the 6 November 2010.  All guests staying on this package will also have an opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a famed, limited edition (3/25) Rob Ryan screen print ‘I Opened My Heart’.  Rooms start at £331+VAT in a Classic Queen room, subject to availability.

Guests staying in any of Brown’s Hotel 12 signature suites, will receive as part of The Rocco Forte Suite Experience, a Rob Ryan signed copy of ‘The Gift’, along with a personalised invitation to see the exhibition and the opportunity to attend the private view on the 2 November, or the above mentioned talk on the 6 November 2010.

Brown’s Hotel will also showcase a signed copy of ‘Can We Shall We’ screen-print by the Dover Street entrance of the hotel.
