From the Managing Director of Brown's Hotel
I write to you today, as we approach a milestone in the UK's efforts against COVID-19, it would appear that the worst is now behind us and with an outstanding vaccination program and a much lower infection rate, there is indeed optimism and hope for us all.
If someone were to tell me that Brown’s would be closed for the best part of a year, I would have found it difficult to believe them. Since 1837, opening as London’s first hotel, Brown’s has entertained guests from all walks of life, surviving two great world wars and more recently a pandemic that forced the world to go quiet. Such events have only made us stronger and more determined than ever as we welcome guests through our doors once more.
As Brown’s reopens, we welcome longer days and warmer nights as we move towards the British summer. With this in mind, my team and I have been working incredibly hard to enhance our bespoke experiences such as our Pashley bicycle and picnic tours, to an exciting new David Hockney art inspired accommodation package and specially curated itineraries for our younger travellers. Our restaurant and bar will bounce back offering a seasonal new menu and inspired cocktails to enjoy well into the evenings – there really is something for everyone at Brown’s. There’s never been a more important time than now to celebrate hospitality and we hope you will join us!
