A life filled with tragedy and a uniquely brilliant painting style, Van Gogh is one of the world’s most influential artists and his story is now being told through his work in the elegant, 17th-century Palazzo Bonaparte, formerly the home to Napoleon's mother. The beautiful exhibition space has gathered together 50 of the Dutch artist’s masterpieces, including his iconic self-portrait as an undoubted highlight.

Rapunzel the Musical at Teatro Brancaccio

See Rapunzel’s long, golden locks cascade from a tall tower, watch Gothel keep herself young with the magical hair and admire as the Prince finds Rapunzel and vows to save her in this musical adaptation of Rapunzel’s famous story. Timeless Wonder: Stone Paintings in Rome in the 17th Century, Galleria Borghese

After the 1527 Sack of Rome destroyed hundreds of works of art, Sebastiano del Piombo began to search for timeless alternatives to canvas on which to create his own art. Discover how, from this, the great artists founded a medium which has lasted for centuries: stone. See the beautiful depictions of Rome he created in the 17th century, which have truly stood the test of time, showcased at the Galleria Borghese.
