Covid19 Notice

at De Russie Spa

Our top priority has always been to bring a safe experience of healing and rejuvenation to our guests, and our resolve is now stronger than ever before. Our team has been working hard to raise the bar of hygiene and sanitation, as well as considering every step of treatment processes to ensure we meet your needs in a focused and safe manner that is in accordance with the World Health Organization and local and national regulatory guidelines.

Booking Procedure

We recommend that all treatments and beauty services are booked in advance. We have also reduced our daily number of treatments. This will all allow us to limit traffic in the spa areas, and give us adequate time to clean and disinfect all spaces and areas after each guest use.

De Russie Spa Reception: from 8.00am to 8.00pm

Booking times for treatments & rituals: from 9.00am to 7.00pm

De Russie Gym: from 8.00am to 8.00pm

Massimo Serini Hairdresser: from 12.00pm to 7.00pm

Our Spa, fitness area and gym are now open to both external guests and hotel guests, but they are available upon reservation only and for a maximum of one hour.

The use of the sauna and swimming pool is available upon reservation only and limited to one person at a time, except for families of 4 who will be able to access the wet area together but always for a maximum of one hour.

The steam room will remain closed until further notice.

Our Commitment

We are committed to meet or exceed all local and national regulatory guidelines relating to sanitation and hygiene.

Team Members who have Covid-19-like symptoms or have come into contact with someone with these symptoms in the last 14 days will not come into work.

Strict sanitation procedures have been implemented for all areas of the spa. Our spa Team Members have also been thoroughly trained in the new procedures.

Our Receptionists will be wearing masks; they will welcome you upon arrival and help you navigate the spa.

Therapists will wear disposable masks, gloves and aprons, as well as face shields, during treatments. Additional Personal Protective Equipment requests can be made in advance of your treatment.

All shared amenities have been replaced with single-use amenities, hand sanitiser and sanitation wipes are available throughout the spa areas, and furniture and equipment has been moved to ensure safe distances.

What we ask of you

To keep our guests and Team Members safe, we ask that you:

  • Refrain from visiting the spa if you or someone you have come into contact with has had Covid-19-like symptoms in the last 14 days;
  • Share special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to arriving at the spa;
  • Allow our Receptionists to take your temperature upon arrival at the spa;
  • Fill-out our declaration form upon arrival in the spa, leaving your contact details to allow for potential contact tracing;
  • Respect the spa’s sanitation and hygiene standards as communicated by Team Members and through signage throughout the spa;
  • Wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds prior to beginning a treatment;
  • Respect social distancing measures put in place throughout the spa areas.

'Touch Less' Treatments

We have handpicked some of our favourite ‘touch less’ treatments and therapies just for you:

A traditional Japanese massage where finger pressure is applied to specific points of the body to help restore energy balance and tone the muscles.

A non-contact treatment to help regenerate and restore the body’s energy balance – perfect for combating stress and anxiety.

Deep pressure is applied to specific areas on the soles of the feet to unlock tension in corresponding parts of the body.
