Concierge Tips

Our Head Concierge at The Balmoral, David Musk, shares his favourite things to see and do this spring (including a few secret tips)

SEACLIFF BAY
This beautiful beach is a 40 minute drive from the city and well worth the drive.
It is often deserted so offers a very peaceful experience. There are stables close by so Horse Riding on the beach is a great option. The ruins of Tantallon Castle, built in the mid-1300's and home to the infamous Black Douglases, looms large over the cliffs and can be explored. And you cannot beat some mouth watering lobster and chips close by at The Lobster Shack in North Berwick.
