at Balmoral Spa


Our top priority has always been to bring a safe experience of healing and rejuvenation to our guests, and our resolve is now stronger than ever before. Our team has been working hard to raise the bar of hygiene and sanitation, as well as considering every step of treatment processes to ensure we meet your needs in a focused and safe manner that is in accordance with the World Health Organization and local and national regulatory guidelines.

Booking Procedure

All spa and fitness services must be booked in advance. This includes all treatments and beauty services, use of the gym and the swimming pool. We have also reduced our daily number of treatments.

We will not be accepting any walk-ins.

This will all allow us to limit traffic in the spa areas, and give us adequate time to clean and disinfect all spaces and areas after each guest use.

Our Commitment

We are committed to meet or exceed all local and national regulatory guidelines relating to sanitation and hygiene.

All staff members will undergo temperature checks on arrival each day and anyone showing any Covid-19 symptoms or having come into contact with someone showing Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, will be asked to remain at home.

Strict sanitation procedures have been implemented for all areas of the spa. Our spa Team Members have also been thoroughly trained in the new procedures.

Our Receptionists will be wearing masks; they will welcome you upon arrival and help you navigate the spa.

Therapists will wear disposable masks during treatments. Additional Personal Protective Equipment requests can be made in advance of your treatment via the online Consultation Form.

Hand sanitiser and sanitation wipes are available throughout the spa areas, and furniture and equipment has been moved to ensure safe distances. 

What we ask of you

To keep our guests and Team Members safe, we ask that you:

  • Refrain from visiting the spa if you or someone you have come into contact with has had Covid-19-like symptoms in the last 14 days;
  • Please wear a face covering while moving around Spa facilities and during your Spa treatment;
  • Share special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to arriving at the spa via the online Consultation Form;
  • Respect the spa’s sanitation and hygiene standards as communicated by Team Members and through signage throughout the spa;
  • Wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds prior to beginning a treatment;
  • Respect social distancing measures put in place throughout the spa areas.

'Touch Less' Treatments

We have handpicked some of our favourite ‘touch less’ treatments and therapies just for you:

Enjoy a guided meditation session to relieve stress and achieve mental, emotional and physical balance. (Available on certain days - please contact the Spa Reception team for further information.)

Refresh tired, aching feet (and soles) with a rosebud foot soak and exfoliation. Follow with a soothing leg and foot massage using cooling peppermint, healing rosemary and Made for Life Organic oils.

A treatment designed to stretch the body and help you unwind, using Mayo Facia Relief and Shiatsu techniques. Wear loose and comfortable clothing. (Available on certain days - please contact the Spa Reception team for further information.)

We are delighted to welcome you once again at the following times:

Monday to Thursday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Friday to Sunday: 8.00am to 8.00pm

Hotel guests can book a time slot to use our facilities when making a hotel booking, when checking in to the hotel or directly with The Balmoral Spa team during their stay.

External visitors are welcome to join us for treatments and day spa packages by appointment directly with The Balmoral Spa team.
