BROWN’S HOTEL PLAYS HOST TO ‘NOT SO DRY JANUARY’
January - the dreaded month for saintly diets, waving goodbye to alcohol and banishing merriment. Not at Brown’s Hotel. The hotel’s Donovan Bar, home to expert mixologists and Mayfair’s finest spirits, is sinfully playing host to Not So Dry January.
DRY COCKTAIL MENU
A specially designed trio of ‘Dry Cocktails’ offer a tongue-in-cheek alternative to the season dedicated to detox. The Dry Cooler blends Aperol, soda water and Galanti Prosecco Extra with a dry citrus roundel garnish, whilst the Dry Dry Baby is a long cocktail of Petit Chablis, soda and lemon and grapefruit bitters served over ice. Last on the menu is the Churchill Martini, served in the same specific way that our most famous Prime Minister required.
The dimly-lit buzz of the Donovan Bar will also play backdrop to the Brown’s Hotel Booze Amnesty. Customers can bring any left over alcohol remaining from the festive season into the bar, and for £5 Bar Manager Giovanni Cassino and Head Bartender Riccardo Vecchio – the expert duo behind the Donovan Bar cocktail list - will create a magnificent cocktail out of these ingredients. This service will be provided every Sunday-Wednesday from 5pm throughout the month of January.
