EXCEPTIONAL DESIGNERS AND FAIRY TALE CHRISTMAS TREES AT HOTEL AMIGO
Hotel Amigo, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Brussels, is located in the heart of the « Ilot Sacré » just steps away from the sparkling Grand Place and the famous Sainte Catherine place. Located in this beautiful area, where the magic of Christmas envelopes the city each year, Hotel Amigo is the perfect place to celebrate the festive period.
The atmosphere of Brussels’ city center is particularly magical throughout the winter season. The wonderful Christmas Market that starts in late November brightens and enchants the pedestrian streets of Brussels. From the Grand Place to the fish market, whilst passing by the Stock Market and then Place Sainte-Catherine, the winter excitements extend over two kilometres with 200 stalls, Christmas animations, an ice skating rink, a majestic Christmas tree and a life-sized nativity scene.
At Hotel Amigo, guests can enjoy an elegant and sophisticated festive atmosphere as renowned Belgian designer Fabienne Delvigne creates the hotel’s Christmas tree. Fabienne has designed beautiful hats, headpieces, jewellery and bags since 1987, and her delicate creations are favoured by the Queen Mathilde of Belgium, as well as the Royal families of Netherlands, Sweden and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. With a mind full of imagination, Fabienne often partners with other talented artisans to make all sorts of different creations, in new and exciting ways, yet always with refinement. For example, she has created hats out of crystal and chocolate!
The Christmas tree, with the signature black hat-box signed Fabienne Delvigne as the base, will be adorned with royal pheasant feathers and a deconstructed hat in beautiful colours. With fairytale-like features, the Delvigne Tree promises to be an imaginative work of art - the first of its kind at Hotel Amigo.
The artistic display continues in Ristorante BoCConi, where the iconic Italian design brand, Alessi, will take guests on a design journey with a thousand sparkling lights. The celestial decorations will be subtle and delicate, a unique installation that customers will only be able to experience at Bocconi.
For guests wishing to stay during these festivities, Hotel Amigo offers the “Festive Break Package” which includes an overnight stay at the Hotel Amigo in a Classic room, a festive welcome cocktail at Bar Amigo, breakfast, an informative booklet with all the winter activities, Brussels’ Christmas market, as well as various amenities in the room.
