BE FORTE – IT’S SUNDAY AGAIN
Right on time for summer, Hotel de Rome, a Rocco Forte Hotel, is playing host to the special “beForte – It’s Sunday again” yoga event, high above the roofs of Berlin. Hotel guests, visitors to Berlin and locals alike can once again look forward to the successful summer liaison between the prestigious Spirit Yoga studios and the Hotel de Rome.
Berlin, 2017. Namasté! Pure relaxation under blue skies with a fresh morning breeze in your hair – the exclusive “beForte – It’s Sunday again” yoga session on the Hotel de Rome’s spa terrace will leave you feeling recuperated with a good dose of vitamin D under the beaming summer sun. After five years of successful collaboration with Spirit Yoga and Patricia Thielemann, yoga has established itself at the Hotel de Rome as a convention that is anchored. Under the supervision of the experienced yoga team, hotel guests, members of Spirit Yoga as well as Berliners and other yoga enthusiasts can get their Sunday off to a relaxing start with an hour of yoga – and enjoy the stunning view as an added extra.
Breakfast in the La Banca restaurant is served as late as 2 pm, catering for late risers as well as offering a haven for health-conscious yogis looking for some energy after their rooftop session.
Sunday can then continue its course with some peace and tranquillity in the de Rome spa – included in the Yoga Day Spa Package. The former vault of the Dresdner Bank offers eight-hundred square metres of pure wellness and relaxation – swim some laps in the 20-meter-long indoor pool, once home to jewels and other treasures, relax in the sauna or indulge in exclusive treatments.

Patricia Thielemann and Spirit Yoga: Spirit Yoga delivers a concisely taught, contemporary and well-grounded lesson. The concept of Spirit Yoga approaches the art of yoga from an enlightened perspective. Founder Patricia Thielemann herself shaped this modern, practical interpretation. The flowing form of Spirit Yoga is influenced by the dynamic schools of power and vinyasa flow yoga from the United States and has been developed by Patricia Thielemann over the last two years to take on an entirely individual art of expression. Healing and challenging, meditative and dynamic – this is how we can bring opposites together and create our own identity. With her free-spirited and physical style, Patricia Thielemann numbers among the most influential proponents of a modern and self-determined lifestyle. Be it with a view over the rooftops of the capital or in a stylish ambience with industrial charm, students practise in the beautiful locations which have become a trademark of Spirit Yoga’s Berlin studios. With a range of courses on offer across three Berlin studios in Charlottenburg, Mitte and Zehlendorf, exciting books and DVDs, selected trips and well-grounded instruction, Spirit Yoga is enabling people to experience and live yoga in the modern world.
