THE BALMORAL LAUNCHES ROYAL MILITARY TATTOO SUITE EXPERIENCE
The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel, has launched its Royal Military Tattoo Suite Experience for August 2019. Celebrating two iconic Edinburgh institutions, the experience includes a stay in one of the hotel’s signature suites, including the newly refurbished royal suites - The Scone & Crombie and The Glamis - and coveted seats at one of world’s most famous military performances.
Rooted in Scottish tradition, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo – or Edinburgh Tattoo as it is known locally – is a 1 hour 40 minute extravaganza showcasing talents from every corner of the globe. Music, dance, precision displays from The Massed Pipes and Drums, Military Bands, cultural troupes and singers combine to create a visual spectacle on Edinburgh Castle’s esplanade. Every year the tattoo embraces a theme, with 2019 promising the bold colours and light of its namesake Kaleidoscope, but each night the notes from the Lone Piper standing against the city’s skyline bring the firework finale to a striking end.
The Balmoral’s experience guarantees guests two tickets at the Tattoo’s Saturday night performances on 11th or 17th August – or at the sell-out finale on 24th August. The package also includes a two night stay with breakfast in the finest suites of the hotel and airport transfers from Edinburgh and a food and beverage credit to spend at The Balmoral’s restaurants and bars including the hotel’s Michelin starred restaurant, Number One.
Part of a recent multimillion-pound hotel refurbishment, both The Scone & Crombie and The Glamis Suites are the perfect urban retreats for VIPs and families looking to stay in Scotland’s capital this summer. Bookable with either one, two or three bedrooms, both suites boast spacious living rooms with views of Edinburgh’s Old Town, baronial dining spaces, regal bedrooms and spacious marble-clad bathrooms.
The Balmoral’s Royal Military Tattoo Suite Experience is aimed at introducing guests to the very best of Scotland.
The Balmoral Royal Military Tattoo Suite Experience starts from £5,000 and includes:
A two-night weekend stay in a signature suite based on two people sharing
Daily full Scottish or continental breakfast in Brasserie Prince or in the suite
