In collaboration with Laudomia Pucci, Director of Design Olga Polizzi has reimagined the glamorous terrace, incorporating the iconic elements of the design house. Beautiful silk scarves are carefully encased in glass table tops, while benches exude warm Mediterranean colours. The result is timelessly glamorous and resolutely Tuscan.
To dine at Irene is to tease your senses with the aromas and tastes of Tuscany. Authentic produce and innovative cooking combine to create irresistible interpretations of traditional classics. “Sundays are an important day at Irene, and are best spent here with family and friends”, advises Fulvio Pierangelini, Rocco Forte Hotels Director of Food. “We’ve created a spectacular menu around the Italian classic, meatballs. Guests can choose from a tempting array of meatball styles – from classic and traditional to vegetables and fish, even Oriental. Of course, everything is made from seasonal and local ingredients.”
Also new to Irene is a dedicated chef, who will prepare and sashimi and sushi in front of guests —Tuscan style, of course! After dinner, Irene’s inviting bar is the perfect place to sip and enjoy a refreshing digestif in a sophisticated atmosphere.
