Dive head-first into Frankfurt’s rich cultural history and get to know Germany’s most iconic author and poet, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. As the birthplace of Goethe, Frankfurt is an essential destination for literature and history lovers, and Villa Kennedy has created a special experience to allow guests to trace the steps of this literary giant.

Rheingau country experience: You’ll visit the famous Brentano House, where Goethe stayed in 1814, and be treated to a private tour with the baroness, whose family have owned the property for over a century. You’ll visit the house where Goethe was born and stop to admire local landmarks connected to the writer, such as the charming Willemer House, before enjoying a meal in the famous Gerbermühle beer garden, where Goethe used to eat.
