As the name implies, this unique museum is all about experimentation and learning in fun, unusual ways and is just as exciting for adults as it is for children. Completely devoid of “Don’t Touch” signs, its 130 experimental stations, set over two floors and exploring different elements of physics, mathematics, technology and science are all intended to be touched and experienced.
Ponder questions such as: how are self-supporting bridges built? How do fakirs rest on beds of nails? How is a man-sized, freezing-cold soap bubble made? Through sensual and visual stimulation, illusion and interaction, visitors can discover the answers to all these questions and more, and gain or refresh valuable scientific knowledge in an exciting, intuitive way. There’s no official route around the exhibition, nor are visitors guided into a particular way of thinking, so every person experiences Experimenta in a completely different way.
