‘MINI MOON’ AT THE CHARLES HOTEL

Munich, September 2016 –With today’s hectic lifestyle, many couples do not have time to travel further a field for long honeymoon after their wedding. The Charles Hotel, Munich, has created the perfect package for newlyweds to enjoy a relaxing break after the busy excitement of their wedding day. The ‘Mini-Moon’ package allows couples to relax and enjoy the city of Munich, whilst staying in one of the most beautiful hotels in the city.

The Charles Hotel and Concierge Team has created a unique itinerary for newlyweds to experience together. The ‘Mini-Moon’ package is designed for guests can choose and tailor their break, creating the perfect romantic getaway.

The ‘Mini-Moon’ package at The Charles Hotel consists of 4 nights in a Deluxe suite with private roof terrace and a wonderful view over the Old Botanical Garden and Munich’s historical buildings, all the way into to the Alps. Not only can the couple experience dining at any time on the private roof terrace, but a candle lit dinner in the hotel’s private dining room can be organised, sampling some of the delicious dishes from Sophia’s Restaurant & Bar.

The Charles Hotel has also organised a selection of romantic experiences for the newlyweds, to fully complete their time in Munich. The couple will be able to document their unforgettable trip, with professional photographs taken at Nyphenburg Castle, the beautiful Baroque palace designed by Agostino Barelli in the 17th century.

There are plenty of day trips that the Concierge Team have organised especially to continue the amorous atmosphere, such as a romantic boat trip on Lake Starnberg. Lake Starnberg lies close to Munich, bordered by moraine hills. By boat, couples can explore the beauty of the landscape and various sights that line the long stretches of shore line, including restaurants, and on a sunny day, breathtaking views of the Alps. If guests prefer to stay on dry land, they can take a horse-drawn carriage through the English Garden. Both historically important and intricately designed, the English Garden is the world’s largest city park and an outstanding example of a classical landscape garden, with evolving architecture and landscape features set amidst beautiful flowers and foliage. Couple’s can enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the garden from a horse drawn carriage.

In addition to experiences of the city of Munich, The Charles Hotel has a special spa treatment to for couples. The Caviar Treatment for two involves a relaxing foot bath and a Aromatherapy massage, as well as delicious Osietra Caviar, accompanied by a bottle of Ruinart Champagne. The Spa at The Charles Hotel is also available for the couple to have an evening of tranquil relaxation together alone. From 10pm, the couple can enjoy The Charles Spa facilities all to themselves, including the pool and heated mosaic-stone lounge chairs, the Finnish sauna, relaxation room and steam bath with aroma therapy oils.
