Step into the workshops at Asprey, one of Mayfair’s most longstanding purveyors of luxury leather goods, jewellery and homeware. A beloved favourite of the royal family, it has held a Royal Warrant since the reign of Queen Victoria.
House of Garrard
Located on Albermale Street, House of Garrard dates back to 1735 and, as the official Crown Jeweller, is responsible for the care of the British Crown Jewels. This illustrious brand also created the famous sapphire engagement ring given to Princess Diana by Prince Charles, now worn by the Duchess of Cambridge.
In the late 19th century, tailor Henry Huntsman was awarded his first royal warrant as Edward VII’s Leather Breeches Maker. Since then, the brand has continued to build a client list that includes kings, prime ministers and Hollywood royalty. Famous for its exquisite bespoke tailoring, Huntsman also served as the inspiration for the Kingsman film starring Colin Firth and Samuel L. Jackson.
Holder of 3 Royal Warrants and favourite of the Queen, Prince Phillip and Prince Charles, Daks was founded by a truly enterprising Brit by the name of Simeon Simpson in the late 19th century, who started a fashion revolution in the 1930s by creating the first trouser that could be worn without braces. Now offering ready-to-wear collections for men and women, discover the understated elegance of this cherished luxury British brand.
