Golf may well be played tee to green, but it makes total sense to learn the skills in reverse.
So while some coaches may focus on those booming drives, it is the putting, chipping and pitching which represents a far greater opportunity to see those bigger gains in your game.
Acquiring those short-game skills is a vital foundation of any golfer’s game and means there is less pressure on being able to add distance. Practical tutorials emphasise simple, manageable techniques, no matter your level of skill or coordination, and are also great for physical and mental wellness.
Roughly 50 per cent of golf is putting, which is the initial focus of our masterclass, and 70 per cent of the game is played 100 yards and in. By starting with putting, then chipping and finally pitching, it is the chance to sharpen the skills necessary to play our beautifully landscaped, nine-hole Executive course.
For each of these skills, there is an introduction to basic technique. There is also an opportunity to pick up some vital tips along the way and some key advice on how to avoid some of the most common mistakes.
