A place to meet, greet, eat, drink and play by Brussels’ Grand-Place. A space for candlelit conversations and chess, live music and late nights. For Belgian classics with artful twists – moules-frites ravioli and croquettes de crevettes – and for drinks that surprise and delight.
The Menu
Paying homage to Magritte, one of Belgium’s most celebrated sons, world-leading master mixologist Salvatore Calabrese has dreamt up a menu of 20 unique cocktails.
"His Work" — 10 scintillating libations inspired by a collection of Magritte’s most influential pieces, and "His World" — 10 classic cocktails, popular during the artist’s lifetime.

Brussels and the life of Magritte are irrevocably intertwined. Bar Magritte celebrates the artist’s enduring legacy, in the city where he enjoyed his most prolific creative periods. Inspired by the surreal world of Magritte, our bar takes visitors on a sensory journey exploring his natural ability to disrupt, question and provoke.
We wish for everyone to feel comfortable, so whilst we do not operate a dress code, we kindly recommend that our guests are respectful of the environment we have created here at Hotel Amigo and refrain from wearing sportswear, shorts and beach shoes in our restaurants. Our guests within the hotel usually opt for a smart-casual style.
