Rocco Forte Hotels is proud to announce the opening of its first Sardinian property – and second European resort – in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia.
The island’s Emerald Coast is favoured for its perfect, powder-white-sand beaches, turquoise Tyrrhenian waters and enviable Italian lifestyle. The new opening takes pride of place along this most privileged stretch of shoreline, just north of the illustrious Porto Cervo.
The two-acre seafront resort has been designed to honour the nature that surrounds it, created with sustainable principles and Sardinian design at heart. Its lush, landscaped gardens have been crafted by Patrizia Pozzi and Rocco Forte Hotels director of design Olga Polizzi – who will also work with interior designer Patricia Urquiola to hero natural materials and local craftsmanship throughout the hotel’s 64 rooms and suites.
Centred around spectacular sea views and a state-of-the-art spa, the resort will feature a meeting and events space, three restaurants championing fresh, local ingredients, and a rooftop bar overlooking Sardinia’s breath-taking east coast.
Opening its doors in 2025, the Porto Cervo resort joins Italian Rocco Forte properties in Rome, Florence, Sicily and Puglia as well as two new openings in Milan.
