Named for the fragrant orange blossom that scents the estate, Zagara restaurant is a unique expression of place, with a menu that revels in the flavours and ingredients of the Mediterranean, from the local catch of the day, served with homegrown braised fennel and citrus, to "Spaghettoni" with shrimp from Sciacca, zucchini leaves, and lemon.

With a glamorous dining room and an atmospheric outdoor terrace that offers views out towards the sea, Zagara combines elegant design and the natural beauty of Verdura to stunning effect.

Fulvio Pierangelini has created an outstanding menu with our Executive Chef, showcasing the abundant natural produce of the island – olive oil, oranges, lemons, freshly caught fish, tomatoes and much more – accompanied by a fine selection of Sicilian and International wines. Mozzarella tomato and basil. Raw red prawn tartar. Tagliolini with squid and sage. Traditional tiramisu. Dine on the outdoor terrace at Zagara or in our lively restaurant. For a more intimate atmosphere this restaurant is dedicated to guests from 9 years old up.

Nando Papa - Sommelier

Originally from Caserta, Sommelier Nando Papa began his career in Monte Carlo. His professionalism and passion for vino buono saw him runner-up in the wine industry’s version of the Oscars in the year 2000 and honoured with the title of "Chevalier" of the Ordre des Coteaux De Champagne in 2018.
