Mario continued his studies drawing human figures at Florence Academy of Fine Arts under the direction of the late Italian artist and professor, Sandra Batoni. One of Mario’s most famous works, ‘Mannequin Man’, showcasing monochromatic tones to highlight light and shadow, won the prestigious Fiorino d’Argento award for painting in 2008 as part of the coveted Premio Firenze prize for visual arts.
