Travel through time to the peak of the Belle Époque in Palermo, where the Florio family’s most distinguished guests would have dined in this original Louis XVI hall. Florio Restaurant’s decadent interiors pay homage to the era’s elegance with a restrained colour scheme and soaring floor-to-ceiling windows, which bathe the space in a soft natural light and reveal magnificent views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. At breakfast time you can enjoy a seasonal breakfast in the Giardino d’Inverno (winter garden room) with its unrivalled position overlooking the gardens and beyond to the sea.
Our exquisite menu, designed by chef Fulvio Pierangelini, is inspired by his philosophy of simplicity, generosity and ultimate quality, as well as by the wonderful flavours of Sicily. Many of our ingredients are harvested right here in the gardens and orchards of Villa Igiea and Verdura, and our dinner menu is an expression of our savoir-faire and the bounty of this Mediterranean island. We have some of the best local produce in the world, including sea-fresh fish and raw crustaceans, oven baked fish, grilled catch of the day, as well as traditional fresh Sicilian pastas, fritti and arancini accompanied by local vegetables, fruits, oils, cheeses and fresh herbs. This is real cuisine, sincere and natural.
