The Concept
Named after the renowned street it is located on, Da Sistina focuses on typical roman cuisine combined with a modern and unique twist, blending tradition with innovation.
This blend of classic dishes with a modern twist is visible in the space as well. A chic checkerboard floor is mixed with velvety red chair cushions, and sumptuous wallpaper generating an air of sophistication and old-world charm.
Commenting on the design, lead designer of Hotel de la Ville, Tommaso Ziffer said: “In Da Sistina Bistro, you’ll find an assortment of Renaissance-inspired busts and statues, set against luxurious jewel-toned velvet sofas reminiscent of old Italian palazzos. The striking black and white floor tiles throughout hark back to the neoclassicism that emerged during the mid-18th century.”
