Why did you host an event at Hotel Savoy?
Having worked with Rocco Forte Hotels in the past, I was confident that organising a programme in Florence with the group would be seamless, efficient and perfect.
I’ve operated well over 10 programmes in Florence, working with several luxury properties. Through this latest programme, my second one at Hotel Savoy, it was clear that ‘I'm home,’ and that is a special feeling.
What did your guests like most about the hotel?
The rooms are extremely comfortable, well-appointed and offer all the details a sophisticated traveller is looking for. Our guests particularly liked the hotel rooms’ elegant Tuscan-inspired fabrics, views of the city’s cobbled streets and the daily breakfast spread of fresh fruit, local cheese and smoked salmon.
The hotel is a welcoming sanctuary, while its location is unbeatable – it’s a great spot to explore the city’s cultural buzz.
The gala farewell dinner was held at Palazzo Budini Gattai, a charming 16th century red brick palace in the city’s historic centre. Its six beautiful rooms and landscaped gardens make a great backdrop for hosting an exclusive event for groups.
With such wonderful settings, steeped in history and culture, it’s no surprise that our guests still talk about this summer trip months later.

It is unmistakably evident that Rocco Forte Hotels has put significant thought into ensuring safety while travelling under current circumstances. With ample health and hygiene measures in place, we were assured that the visit to Florence would be truly memorable. We didn’t receive any negative comments from our guests during their stay.
