Björn Ingelstam Quartet

Thursday, 10th September

Björn, a Swedish trumpeter and singer, has quickly made a name for himself on the European jazz scene with his playing that is both powerful and subtle. After living and performing for several years in New York, he now resides in Paris and continues to tour the world with his band and as a solo artist.

Georgia Mancio Quartet

Multi-award-winning jazz vocalist, lyricist and producer, Georgia Mancio, is a supreme storyteller and formidable force on today’s scene, creating work of beauty and bite, both personal and political. She is a two-time winner of the Parliamentary Jazz Awards in both "Best Vocalist" and "Best Album" categories, and forged a fruitful relationship with Grammy-award winning pianist and composer Alan Broadbent with whom she has collaborated on three acclaimed albums. A joyously authentic artist, whether interpreting her own luminous originals or standards, Georgia’s invoking performances connect deeply with her audiences and linger long in the mind.
