Calling all young football champions of the future: this is your chance to score a hat trick over the summer.
Under the guidance of Italian football hero Gianluca Zambrotta - who won the World Cup in 2006 with the Italian national team - junior footballers, aged six to 14, will have the opportunity to build their confidence on and off the pitch with a mixture of games, friendly matches and technical workshops.
Returning home, young players leave with an official training kit, photos and selfies taken with their on-pitch heroes and autographs from our Legends as well as unforgettable sporting memories.

Guests aged 5 to 16 can enjoy a special experience, where they will meet new friends, practise football and just have fun. The professional Juventus coaches will share their knowledge with those who want to live a “black and white” summer experience on our full-size football pitch, surrounded by an amazing landscape of mountains and orange groves.

Those looking for an exciting activity while staying at Verdura Resort can experience the GZ19PADEL, our newly-launched sports centre dedicated to Padel. A cross between tennis and squash, Padel is the sport of the moment and can be played on two brand new courts designed by world-champion footballer, Gianluca Zambrotta.
A game for everyone, adults and kids, professionals and beginners will all enjoy the fast-moving and sociable match in the Mediterranean sun. Guests can be coached by our resident trainers, available for introductory lessons or more specific courses dedicated to advanced players. Throughout the season, our padel centre hosts international champions for special academies with our guests, to make your stay more memorable. Lessons, courses and court rental are subject to reservation.
Led by a team of PGA qualified professionals, the Verdura Golf Academy provides guests with an excellent opportunity to enhance their golfing experience. Whether improving your game, or playing for the first time, as a guest at Verdura you’ll be provided with the finest learning and practice facilities. Furthermore, an advanced Perfomance Institute will offer a 360° golfing experience to include highly precise analyses.
Kids can enjoy the Junior Academy: they will learn all the necessary practical skills, including: full swing, short game, putting, bunker play along with basic rules and etiquette, with our Instructor Giacomo Dovetta, certified as one of the world’s top 50 junior coaches by US Kids Golf.

Take tips from our professionals at the Verdura Tennis Academy. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome to join our courses, have private and group lessons or alternatively play at their leisure with friends and family. Our tennis instructors will unveil secret tips from the likes of Nadal and Federer. The Academy also hosts guest tournaments, special tennis camps and events with famous ex-professionals.

Adults and children can enjoy swimming lessons with our professional instructors. Tuitions range from simply exploring the water, to getting comfortable with different swimming styles such as backstroke, front crawl and butterfly, to becoming a speedy and stylish swimmer.
Verdura Water Sports Club offers a wide range of equipment, activities and courses to our guests. Visit the beach and discover more about everything we have to offer, as well as to meet our qualified team. Choose from simple, fun, technical and even adrenalin-pumping activities, like flyboarding, SUP, kayaking and jet surfing; experience these with your family, with friends or even on a course with our qualified instructors. Furthermore, enjoy memorable journeys in Verdura’s boat to Torre Salsa, Scala dei Turchi, Capo Bianco or even Sciacca. Go fishing, stop to snorkel or enjoy a sunset picnic. Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing, is the national sport and cultural martial art of Thailand. It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat that utilizes the entire body as a weapon. Training in Muay Thai is not easy - in fact, it is perhaps the most intense workout you will ever experience! But under the guidance of our Sicilian coach Gery Bavetta – who participated in over 70 professional matches all over the world – you will discover that your mind is stronger than any muscle in your body.
