Verdura Resort is home to two world-class qualified PGA professionals ready to work with players at every degree of the ability spectrum.

Our performance centre combines expert coaching with the latest technology – including Trackman, SAM PuttLab, Blast Golf and SportsBox AI – to analyse and improve every aspect of a golfer’s game, whether they’re learning the game or compete on top-level tours. Guests can even make the most of detailed club-fitting facilities in our two purpose-built studios.

Second-to-none practice facilities, including a double-ended driving range with new covered bays, mean that you have everything you need to prepare for a day on our courses. With three dynamic short-game practice areas, golfers can recreate any situation from a real round and practice to their heart’s content in the Mediterranean sun.

Meet The Team

Our two PGA-qualified professionals are on hand to deliver the right coaching for you – whatever your level. Tommaso brings a modern, technology-led approach to coaching, combining technical insight with clear communication, while academy professional Odin Antonino Urso is a fully qualified golf professional, combining high-level coaching expertise with an in-depth knowledge of Verdura Resort’s 45 holes.

Tommaso Pietrobon

Tommaso discovered golf at seventeen, quickly developing a natural aptitude for the game and reaching scratch within just three years. Between 2023 and 2025, he was recognised as a rising talent by the Italian Golf Federation, establishing his reputation on the national golfing scene.

Having completed his training at the Federazione Italiana Golf for PGA professionals and coaches, Tommaso combines established coaching principles with advanced technologies including TrackMan. His coaching philosophy centres on enhancing individual strengths while delivering tailored guidance for golfers of every level and ability.

Through his enthusiasm, versatility and clear communication style, Tommaso identifies the changes that create the greatest impact, supporting long-term improvement and confidence on the course.

Odin Antonino Urso

A versatile and talented athlete from a young age, Odin swapped football for golf at 17 – and three years later, he was a scratch player.

As a player, Odin’s career highlights to date include reaching the quarter-finals of the Italian Match-Play Championships and winning five national tournaments as well as an Absolute Italian team championship, for which he received a Bronze Award for Sporting Merit from the International Olympic Committee.

Odin’s focus at Verdura Resort is helping the next generation of golfers reach their true potential. He is a Trackman Level 2 Certified Coach, TPI Level 1 Certified (Titleist Performance Institute) and US Kids Certified.
