YOUR GUIDE TO SAFER BUSINESS TRAVEL IN 2021

Rocco Forte Hotels

In Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich

While you’re travelling for business, our dedicated teams at Rocco Forte Hotels in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich are here to ensure you have everything you require for your trip to run as smoothly and safely as possible, in line with government regulations. Below, we’ve curated a useful guide to help you enjoy safer business travel in 2021.

Government advice

The German government is the most accurate source for up-to-date travel requirements. We recommend visiting the official website before you travel to find out specific information on quarantine regulations, how to conduct yourself in the city you’re visiting, test requirements and digital entry requirements if necessary.

Local PCR testing

Since many destinations may wish you to present a negative test upon arrival, our teams in all of our locations are happy to arrange appointments for local PCR tests before your departure. Simply call ahead or speak to our dedicated concierge team when you check in to ensure your appointment is made within the required time limitations.

Safer transfers

Our drivers follow social distancing guidelines and wear a protective mask at all times. All cars are cleaned and disinfected after each journey, in line with official legislation.  The driver section of each car can also be isolated with a temporary plastic or transparent sheet upon request.

Enhanced cleaning procedures

Guest rooms are kept empty for at least 24 hours after departure and deeply sanitised after each use. Once rooms have been thoroughly cleaned, we seal them to keep them fresh for our next guest’s arrival.

Personal protective equipment

We recommend that protective masks are worn in all public spaces. Each room is stocked with protective masks and hand sanitisers, should you require them. Our concierge team is also happy to deliver extra supplies directly to your room if required.

Meeting room safety

The correct social distancing space is maintained between tables and chairs in every meeting room, and rooms are sanitised the evening before the meeting date. Instead of classic coffee break stations, guests are served individually during breaks while respecting social distancing. Individual water bottles are provided instead of water carafes or large bottles to share on the tables. Hand sanitisers are placed in all public areas as well as at the entrance of each meeting room.

Distanced dining

Guests have the option to order their choice of food and drink from the full menu so that meals can be enjoyed in the privacy of their own room. All meals and drinks are carefully covered while being served and can be delivered by a member of our team directly to the room without any social contact.
