Fine crafts: An exclusive experience with Fürst jewelry

Exclusively for Rocco Forte's Forte Suite clients, a visit to the Fürst workshop reveals many of the production processes behind a Fürst High Jewelry creation. Fürst is a historic Italian jewelry brand, founded in Turin in 1850, and is currently owned by Filippo Fürst, representing the 5th generation. The creation of a Fürst piece begins with a sketch by Filippo, which he then transforms into a sculptable wax prototype. Subsequent processes involve the work of a goldsmith, a stone cutter, a stone setter, an engraver, and so on, until the final polishing. Visitors to the workshop will have the opportunity to see the execution of traditional goldsmith techniques along with the stone setting process. High jewelry requires many hours of work, always striving for executive perfection, and precise organization among the various processes. This is why the Fürst workshop serves as a space for exchange and experimentation, where Filippo's creative vision comes to life through these processes. Meeting Filippo will grant you the opportunity to design an exclusive Fürst creation according to your personal preferences. Filippo will provide an initial sketch and then deliver a detailed drawing of the agreed-upon piece. Share your vision with Filippo and he will make it happen.

The Profumo was originally owned and operated by Dominican Monks who created herbal remedies for locals.
