Every Rocco Forte Hotels suite is carefully conceived to give our guests an extraordinary experience of the city they’re in. Designed by Olga Polizzi, each hotel suite is inspired by its location, celebrating the history of the building, the culture of the city, or the distinguished guests who have resided at the property.
“I enjoy designing every one of our properties and in particular, creating the look of our suites. Each suite is unique, and there is more space to work with which is really quite fun.
My inspiration always starts with the place, and I try and find ways of bringing the city into the suite. I like to use the work of local artists, and to discover modern or antique furniture in my favorite shops in each city. We always try and include something that catches the imagination – even a small detail like a book about something in the city, a beautiful vase or an interesting painting.
Everything should look good, but also be very comfortable, with the very best service – so you have an extraordinary experience when you stay in our suites"

The Suite Experience
A carefully crafted home away from home
All of our Suites are carefully created to give our guests an extraordinary experience of the city. Most also have distinctive views. The new Studio Suite at Brown’s Hotel has double-aspect views across the rooftops of London. Hotel de Rome’s Terrace Suite has a 40m2 terrace from which you can admire the Berlin skyline and the historic buildings in Mitte. Some are also historic spaces. The JK Rowling Suite at The Balmoral has the writing desk upon which the author finished her final Harry Potter novel.
Many of our Suites can also be interconnected to neighbouring rooms. The Charles Hotel’s Executive Two-Bedroom Suites are designed for families, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious sitting room - and all our Rocco Forte Kids amenities.
As part of your experience, extra-guest services such as in-suite check-in, complimentary breakfast and personalised concierge services are available during your stay.
The Special Suite Experience
Luxurious living inspired by your location
Our one and two-bedroom Special Suites are designed with a few extra touches. All are decorated with accents inspired by the city.
At Hotel de Rome, the bank’s conference rooms or manager’s offices are now four historic suites with 5-metre high ceilings and original wood panelling on the walls or ceilings. Named after Russian composers, Hotel Astoria’s Presidential Suites overlook St Isaac’s Square and the Mariinsky Palace. All have a library, sitting room, dressing room and two bedrooms with en-suites. The Tchaikovsky Royal Suite also has a 38m2 terrace.
The special suite experience includes a collection of benefits such as personalised concierge services before and during your stay, unpacking and packing service, pressing of up to four garments and complimentary breakfast available in your suite or in our restaurant.
The Forte Suite Experience

Our largest, most glamorous signature suites are designed in the style of private apartments. They have original artworks and antique furniture –including pieces from Olga Polizzi’s personal collection, as well as specially-commissioned furniture and decorations. All have private libraries with classic novels and works by local authors.
Many of our Forte Suites can interconnect with neighbouring rooms to create expansive private spaces. For example, The Charles Hotel's Monforte Suite can interconnect with other rooms on the 8th floor to form a 437m2 four-bedroom suite with private lift access and a private terrace overlooking the gardens and the Alps.
