THE ROCCO FORTE SUITE EXPERIENCE

The finest way to fully indulge in the Rocco Forte Hotels fantasy is by staying in one of our palatial suites. Dreamt up by Director of Design, Olga Polizzi to reflect the history and culture of the hotel and destination, each suite is classic, contemporary and, above all, exclusive. Fresh for the New Year, Rocco Forte Hotels has updated its Suite Experience with three tiers – Suites, Special Suites and Forte Suites. Devised to take the stress out of staying away from home, every element has been considered, from arrival in the country to check-out, and everything in between.

In each hotel, the Forte Suites are the stars of the show, which means its Suite Experience is beyond compare. From the moment a Forte Suite is booked, our Concierge team works to personalise our guests’ stay. A highlight is the array of tailor-made cultural experiences on offer. Forte Suite guests at Hotel Savoy in Florence, for example, are treated to a bespoke tour of the Duomo and Opera del Duomo Museum, or a Tuscan wine tasting in a traditional Italian wine shop. If you have an eye for style, book the prestigious Reppublica Suite and enjoy a private high-fashion tour of the Ferragamo and Gucci museums.

Elsewhere, Forte Suite guests at Hotel de Russie are offered a private tailored shopping experience, or an art running class, where our personal trainer takes them on a workout tour of Rome’s secret spots. Guests of the hotel’s illustrious Nijinsky Suite can enjoy extra privileges such as a cooking lesson in the suite, pampering treatments, or a private street food tour of the city.

Before arrival at any of our hotels, the Forte Suite is prepared with our guest’s favourite flowers and amenities. Upon landing, they’re picked up at the airport by a private chauffer and then escorted straight to the suite, where the procedure is completed in-room. Visitors can then head off to explore the city and leave their suitcases in the capable hands of our team, who will carefully unpack and hang up their belongings – and re-pack on check-out. In the morning, a full complimentary breakfast is served in the privacy of the suite or in the restaurant.

There are a number of Forte Suites to choose from at our properties, all of which offer the same standard of service. Our Tsar Suite at Hotel Astoria is the most prestigious suite in St Petersburg. Located on the sixth floor of the hotel, its highlights include stunning views onto St Isaac’s Square and Cathedral, a grand marble bathroom, and a private gym.

In Brussels, the Armand Blaton Suite at Hotel Amigo honours the original founder, Armand Blaton. Paintings from the Blaton family’s illustrious art collection hang in the elegant dining room, colourful marble mosaics cover the bathroom, and an open fire burns in the classic living room – and that’s not to mention the terrace, which overlooks the cobbled streets and exquisite architecture of the historic city.

On the scenic island of Sicily, the view from Verdura Resort’s Presidential Suite is unlike anything you’re likely to have seen before. The spacious villa features three large terraces, a Jacuzzi and a private pool overlooking the lush beachside golf course, with the brilliant blue ocean on the horizon providing the perfect backdrop.

The Rocco Forte Suite Experience is offered for all Suites, Special Suites and Forte Suites bookings. Complimentary privileges vary between each tier.

Coastal modernism, Sicilian Style: New Suites at Verdura Resort

Verdura Resort has always drawn its character from its surroundings – the wide sweep of Sicily's south-western coastline, the olive groves and macchia mediterranea stretching back from the shore, the quality of a landscape that shifts hour by hour with the sun. When Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, working closely with Olga Polizzi, began designing the resort's new collection of sea-facing suites and rooms, that relationship between interior and place was where they started.

Exploring the Baroque Splendour of Southern Italy

To understand Baroque, you have to understand its ambition. To fully appreciate it, you have to go to southern Italy. Emerging from the Counter-Reformation in early 17th-century Italy, the movement harnessed drama, ornamentation and light in service of devotion – art designed to engage the senses as much as the intellect.

The Language of Flowers: Inside our Suites

Every suite is, in some sense, a portrait of where it stands, grounded in the history, the stories, the particular light of its city. At Hotel de Russie in Rome, the Valadier Suite takes its name and its lush colour palette from the architect who designed the hotel's own Secret Garden; at Hotel Amigo in Brussels, the Tintin Suite pays tribute to Belgium's most beloved cultural hero. The floristry follows the same instinct.
