Brown’s Presents the Blues
Set Sundays aside for a sophisticated evening of soothing and joyful jazz. End the week with dinner at Charlie’s, accompanied by sultry sounds of the band. From blues to bebop, seasoned saxophonist Greg Davis leads our trio of musicians, creating a delightful aural harmony of notes and syncopated sounds: that’s jazz.
Your evening could begin with a well crafted cocktail, before casting your eye over the menu of modern yet classic British dishes. Settle into the welcoming, warmly-lit wood panelled restaurant, led by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt, as you try to resist tapping your toe to the mellow and melodious sounds.
Be transported to a bygone era as you follow the piercing high notes of the sax and banish any sign of the Sunday blues. You’re in good hands with our band, three cool cats who have brought their suave take on swing and funk to every well known jazz haunt in London.
Sway to the soothing sound of the jazz players as they present the glides and flutters of the bossa nova style. Rhythmic and relaxing, the ‘new jazz’ style embodied by the samba and jazz coming out of Brazil in the late 1950s, will help you unwind at the end of the weekend as you enjoy dinner to the samba infused jazz.
Join us for jubilant jazz and settle in for cosy Sunday nights at Brown’s Hotel as our band explores scats and riffs to bring the boogie back.
