Trekking Routes

At Verdura Resort, we have created breathtaking trekking routes, uniting fitness with both culture and nature. Our trekking routes vary in length and terrain to accommodate all levels of fitness and experience. Our fitness team will guide you through these treks and provide you with water at break points, as well as Rocco Forte Nourish healthy snacks. Some treks require hiking boots and others require water shoes to walk in the river, other treks can be done in regular trainers.

Farm Cultural Park

A half hour drive from the Valley of the Temple is Sicily’s most exciting new art space, Farm Cultural Park, an art project which transformed the historic centre of Favara into a contemporary cultural hub. Known for thought-provoking art exhibitions by local and international artists, Farm brings visitors and locals together with cultural events, talks, screenings, workshops and performances. Meander through the Seven Courtyards which serve as a canvass for local artists, visit the gallery, attend workshops and dine in the open kitchen, shop for souvenirs before finishing with a drink at one of the various bars in the neighbourhood.
