The Supper Club at Brown's

This Spring, Brown’s Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Mayfair, will launch The Supper Club, a daily dining experience that celebrates British classics with a modern twist, created with Chef Adam Byatt.

Guests of The Supper Club will enjoy an evening of home comforts from their home-away-from-home on Albemarle Street, in the welcoming and recently redesigned Drawing Room on the hotel’s ground floor. With its relaxed and informal atmosphere, The Supper Club will be open every night (from 6 pm until 10.30 pm) and is the ideal place in Mayfair to drop in for a light supper, a two-course dinner, or even just a mid-week tipple.

The menu, crafted by Chef Director Adam Byatt, serves up the best of British comfort food, complemented by cocktails and aperitifs created by Director of Mixology Federico Pavan. The menu will present classic home comforts, as they are intended to be enjoyed: using only the highest quality local ingredients, presented beautifully but without pretension. Dishes include soft boiled eggs with caviar soldiers, devils on horseback, and Welsh rarebit. An elegant drinks trolley delivers cocktails in chic glassware, including Bloody Marys, Pimms with seasonal fruit and Gin and Tonics.

Commenting on the launch, Lydia Forte, Group Director of Food and Beverage, said: “Brown’s Hotel has long been a favourite mid-week retreat for our neighbours and guests who work in Mayfair. Our aim with The Supper Club is to widen our culinary offering and welcome guests both new and old, to experience the renovated Drawing Room and feel that they can make it their home, night after night”.

Adam Byatt said: “The menu may be somewhat unexpected to some of our regular in-house and dinner guests. The dishes are inspired by those classic British savouries, with a touch of childhood nostalgia, that are best served later in the evening; crumpets, quiches, and plenty of melting cheese”.

With warm table lights, four roaring fires and a live Jazz pianist, The Drawing Room will transform each evening into a relaxed, convivial hub, a perfect blend of cosy country house and contemporary London hangout. The low hum of conversation and background music create the ideal atmosphere for great conversation, a game of backgammon or Scrabble, or an evening spent solo, reading the newspapers or a favourite book in a plush armchair. A calendar of themed Supper Clubs will also follow, including regular Games Nights.

The Supper Club will launch in April 2022, available nightly from 6 pm until 10.30 pm in The Drawing Room.
