Edinburgh Riding of the Marches

A vibrant cavalcade of 280 riders, mounts, pipe bands and banners winds its way along the Royal Mile to Mercat Cross. This living tribute re-enacts the city’s medieval boundary ride and honours centuries of civic tradition.
