I started in 2006 as a Receptionist, and was promoted to Guest Relations Manager after two years. I left after two years in that role, but was delighted to return in 2012 as Spa Manager. Four years later, I became Front of House Manager before going on maternity leave. I returned as Reservations Manager and have been a PA to the General Manager since 2019.
In total, I have worked for Rocco Forte Hotels for 13 years, across four departments – so I can do a bit of everything (except F&B) and I still dip in and out of some of my old departments on occasion. It’s hard not to.
The best thing about the roles that I have experienced, is that every day is different. I couldn't work in an industry that wasn't constantly evolving and presenting new challenges as I like to learn something new every day.
