BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S

Clad in a classic black gown, hair swept up in her signature chignon, Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly gazes into the bejewelled windows of Tiffany & Co. while savouring a breakfast croissant. In this moment, in the quiet of dawn, the store is hers and hers alone, a glittering materialisation of her dreams.

The opening scene of 1961 classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s has been immortalised as a defining Hollywood moment, with romantics the world over yearning to recreate it. This Christmas, Hotel Amigo invites our guests in Brussels to do just that. We’ve partnered with renowned jewellery house Tiffany & Co. to create a magical festive atmosphere like no other, just a short distance from Ixelles, where Hepburn was born 90 years ago.

The experience begins from the moment families enter our grand foyer to be greeted by a swathe of festive decorations in the brand’s signature Tiffany Blue hue. A majestic Christmas tree, specially adorned by the jewellery house, stands above a bespoke display of their iconic robin’s egg blue gift boxes. The theme continues throughout Hotel Amigo and caters to little guests too, with rich hot chocolate served from an elegant Tiffany & Co. trolley and a sumptuous tiered Tiffany & Co. Afternoon Treat, replete with edible treasures, suitable for all the family and served in Bar A. There’s also a bespoke advent calendar packed full of treasures, and each day at 5pm, one lucky child will have the chance to open a window to reveal a special treat.

Then it’s time for the crowning silver screen moment, which our award-winning Les Clef’s d’Or Concierges are delighted to arrange for you. The culinary experience begins with a picturesque stroll from Hotel Amigo to Tiffany & Co.’s spectacular flagship store in the heart of Brussels. After stepping in from the chill to a warm welcome, you’ll be seated in the elegant ambience of this exclusive jewellery emporium and served a continental breakfast à la Audrey amongst the gleaming treasures that so enraptured her in the film. Once sated, browse the exclusive collections on display, perhaps picking up a sparkling souvenir of your experience.

Brussels and the Pursuit of Chocolate

Belgium does not apologise for its obsessions. In a country that has elevated brewing, architecture and surrealism to the level of national philosophy, chocolate occupies its own distinct place: something closer to culture than craft, as central to the country's identity as its quirky humour. To understand this is to understand Brussels itself.

The Curious Traveller’s Guide to Hidden Treasures

Often, the best adventures start with a question: what would happen if you followed a different thread? A story. A flavour. A sweep of colour. Three cities offer three very different kinds of treasure — the literary footsteps of a Nobel Prize winner in Mayfair, a sweet trail through Brussels, and the underground murals rewriting Munich. Our hotels are the starting points, what you discover is entirely up to you.

Milan on a Plate

Few cities have shaped Italy’s table quite like Milan. Arguably best known for its extraordinary fashion and design scene, the city’s culinary story is one less often told - though no less remarkable. It is one best read on a plate, through recipes handed down over centuries.
