AN ORIGINAL BAR A GIN COCKTAIL: FLOSMINE

Rocco Forte Hotels

As the days get longer and the nights warmer in Brussels, Bar A’s light and refreshing cocktails are the perfect way to cool down after a day enjoying the city’s rich cultural past. Created by Bar Manager Filippo di Marino, our three-ingredient cocktail Flosmine combines delicious Belgian gin with subtle floral and citrus accents. Mix it up yourself in moments for a taste of summer in Brussels.

Ingredients

40ml Double You gin
40ml Jing Jasmine tea (cold)
20ml lemon, vanilla and violet cordial*

Method

Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass and stir gently.

Fill a chilled coupette with ice and pour the cocktail mixture over the ice using a strainer.

*To make your own lemon, vanilla and violet cordial, simply add 1kg of sugar, 2 vanilla sticks, the juice of 1 lemon and several orange flowers to 2 litres of water, bring to the boil for several minutes and leave to cool.
