The Season at Brown's Hotel

London has long drawn visitors to its most sought-after summer occasions – Ascot, Hurlingham, the private views and grand evenings that mark the months from May to July. Brown’s Hotel, in Mayfair, places you at the centre of it: dedicated concierge support, private transport, and the hotel's own exclusive connections to the city's cultural life, all arranged as part of a tailored group stay.

This year, the Brown’s Season takes place over four acts, each rooted in the centuries-old social rituals, otherwise known as The Estival Season. It once drew wealthy families to London for the sitting of Parliament, but is reimagined now as a curated calendar of racing, dining, garden parties and grand occasions.

The Stage

The Stage has always been a place of patronage and performance. In the eighteenth century, an opera box signalled status, style and connection, but today, Brown’s brings that spirit into a modern cultural moment as Harry Styles takes to Wembley on 17 and 23 June 2026. With private transport and special access, guests can travel from hotel to stadium in complete comfort, with every detail handled. Indeed Brown's own creative lineage runs deep, counting Rudyard Kipling and Agatha Christie among its former guests, and the hotel remains a natural meeting place for the culturally curious.

The Gallery

Mayfair's galleries have shaped the British art market for centuries, and Brown's opens that world to groups directly. Enjoy exclusive access to Colnaghi, the world's oldest commercial art gallery, dealing in masterworks since 1760, including its Art and Jewellery Exhibition and Wine and Art programme.

Alternatively, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the neighbourhood’s most prestigious galleries, including the Royal Academy, with art historian and curator Maeve Doyle. Discuss the events of the day over dinner in a private dining room, perhaps The Lord Byron Room, overlooking Dover Street. An intimate setting for dinners and private events, it takes its name from the Romantic poet whose butler, James Brown, went on to found Brown’s Hotel.

The Lawn

Tennis is at the heart of London’s summer season, and this year guests can step into that tradition with access to the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Club, usually reserved for members only. Groups will enjoy exclusive entry from 23–27 June, including Champagne on the terrace, a Michelin-starred lunch, world-class ATP tennis and a legends doubles exhibition match, all within one of London’s most private members’ settings.

The Garden

The Chelsea Flower Show season is marked at Brown's with the Boodles Botanical Afternoon Tea in The Drawing Room, from 19–23 May — floral-inspired pastries and seasonal patisserie, served with precision. For suite guests, the Boodles VIP Jewellery Experience brings the sparkle of the season directly to them: rare diamonds and gemstones presented by an expert gemmologist, at their Bond Street apartment, over Champagne.

For special interest groups seeking a more meaningful way to experience London’s social season, Brown’s can curate bespoke event access as part of a tailored stay.
