Together with your expert guide, you will visit the Vatican Museums, with a special focus on the artist’s wonderful work. Explore the stunning Vatican Pinacoteca, whose collection grew richer and richer in the years reaching its current nucleus of 460 paintings, from Giotto to Leonardo, from Caravaggio to, you guessed it, the legendary Raphael. Proceed to the mesmerizing Raphael Rooms, a breathtaking masterpiece of the painter that moved to Rome, called by the Pope himself, specifically to decorate these spectacular spaces. Do not miss the School of Athens, one of the most celebrated Renaissance works, in which you can spot the self-portrait of the artist. Last, but not least, you will also get to marvel at the unique Sistine Chapel, realized by another incredible artist, Michelangelo.
