Riding Towards Ancient Rituals

Explore unbeaten paths and hidden treasures from Verdura Resort, winding your way through scenic countryside before reaching Monte Kronio’s ancient vaporous caves, once serving as a natural sauna. Follow the gradual descent into Sciacca, admiring the view from the harbour before calling into Zio Aurelio for refreshing granita. Before departing this timeless haven of wellbeing, take a dip in the restorative waters of Sciacca’s thermal baths. This 37 km trail takes approximately three hours.

Day Tour to Caltabellotta, Sicily

A Biking Journey through Time and Taste

Discover the untouched beauty of Caltabellotta, one of the oldest villages in Sicily, as you meander through its peaceful thoroughfares and marvel at ancient surroundings. Gentle climbs and descents make this a blissful ride, concluded with a tasting of local Sicilian produce, including cheese, wine, and fragrant citrus marmalade. Taking two hours, this 12 km trail makes for a relaxed excursion - a chance to slow down and savour the journey. 

Cycling Toward The Myth

Our special mountain E-Bikes allow you to meander through Sicily’s hidden history, accompanied by our local guide. Cycle through nature reserves and white cliffs on your way to the wild beach of Piana Grande. A highlight is the Heraclea Minoa archaeological site, rumoured to be the location of a wrestling match between local hero Eryx and Heracles himself.
